It’s time to swing into spring at Seattle Center Whirligig!, an annual phenomenon of fun for kids. This wacky world of child-sized action transforms Center House into a vibrant House of Bounce for two weeks during spring break.
Seattle Center Whirligig! offers amusement aplenty for all pre-teen ages! Kids can glide, slide and ride on super-cool, super-sized inflatable rides. Eye-popping colors, face painters and balloon artists add to the mix of non-stop fun that keeps kids coming back for more! A special Toddler Zone is also available.
When: Friday – Sunday 11am – 6pm

3. Go Farm Fresh!
Don’t let a little rain spoil your celebration of spring! It’s here (whether the weather is cooperating or not!) Head to West Seattle and get some of the freshest spring ingredients. There are over 35 Washington State farmers and small food processors on hand. You can find everything for a fun home made Sunday night meal. Pick up fresh fruit, seasonal veggies, fresh farm cheeses, herbs, free-range chicken and eggs, seafood, pastured organic beef, fresh baked bread and more! There is also live music and lots of taste tasters! Make shopping and cooking an event in and of itself!

4. Go View & Chew!
The food is delicious and the atmospher can’t be beat. This is a perfect date night on the cheap! Century Ballroom is featuring “Save the Last Dance”. The shows are all-ages. The coolest part is that food and bar service from one of my favorite spots on Capitol Hill, The Tin Table, will be available!

5. Go Laugh!
Winner of NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” is in town from LA and ready to make you laugh. Felipe Esparaza is known for his real-life comdedy and wild hair. He has appeared on numerous TV shows including ABC’s “Comics Unleashed”, Comedy Central’s “Premium Blend”, Showtime’s “Comics Without Borders”, BET’s “Comic View” and more.
