Teacher Punishes Students w/ “Game of Thrones” Spoilers

Considering I’ve never seen a single episode of “Game of Thrones” (let me stop you right there before you say “omg you have to watch it, it’s soo gooood” because I’m not watching it), but if I have — I can see how this punishment would have been highly effective.

A math teacher is replacing the outdated ‘detention’ with something a little more serious & threating: — writing Game of Thrones spoilers on the board. If the class refuses to quiet down, they get punished.

Unsurprisingly, the teacher saw immediate results. When the skeptical pupils tested his nerve, he promptly wrote out all the names of the characters who perished in Season 3. Any students who hadn’t seen the Red Wedding yet were undoubtedly traumatized.

If Game of Thrones were to be replaced by Homeland or Sons of Anarchy — I would be the quietest kid on earth. [Mashable]
