Reddit Makes NASCAR!

The internet can be a dark, strange, and inappropriate place at times. It can also be a hilarious, charitable, profitable — and maniacal-laugh inducing place, and that’s what I choose to view!

You may or may not be familiar with the “Doge” meme. I first saw it on this photo, and had no idea what it was referring to at all — but I still cracked up laughing.

This should help explain it.

The use of the misspelled word “doge” to refer to a dog dates back to June 24th, 2005, when it was mentioned in an episode of Homestar Runner’s puppet show. In the episode titled “Biz Cas Fri 1”[2], Homestar calls Strong Bad his “d-o-g-e” while trying to distract him from his work.

As you might imagine, the internet community quickly embraced Doge, and a long series of events (that I won’t bore you with) took place which led to this. [DeadSpin]

Wow so amaze. Much awesome. Very race.
