Bill Belichick Blames “Atmospheric Pressure” for #DeflateGate

Hey guys, I have some beach-front property in southwest Montana for sale if you believe this story. [Time]

New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick said Saturday that a vigorous preparation process and atmospheric changes—not any tampering by his team—were to blame for the deflated game balls used in the first half of the Patriots’ 45-7 win over the Indianapolis Colts in Sunday’s AFC Championship Game.

According to Belichick, preparing the balls for use in a game artificially inflates their pressure, while taking them outdoors causes their pressure to drop.

Ok ok, Bill. If that’s true… why weren’t the Colts footballs deflated the same way? And what happened to the 12th football?? The atmosphere must have just been tired from deflating the other 11, huh.

So… anybody up for that beach-front property?
