Seattle will be hosting its first Comcast presents BOREALIS a Festival of Light in association with Maxin10sity! BOREALIS is a light art festival taking place for the first time in the South Lake Union neighborhood of Seattle Thursday, October 11th – Sunday, October 14th. The festival features a first-in-the US, global competition of light artists and a unique combination of live music, lighting art installations, and multi-media video mapping designed to transform the façade of MOHAI with visual storytelling. Visitors will enjoy a walking tour of 25 entertaining and interactive light art displays, all while surrounded by gourmet local bites from participating food trucks, quench their thirst at the festival beer and wine gardens, and enjoy live music from top local bands. The festival is free and open to the public.
