Go Red For Women is the American Heart Association’s movement to inspire women to fight for their health, sponsored nationally by Macy’s and CVS Health, and locally by CHI Franciscan Health.
Red is the color to help women in our community live longer and stronger. According to the American Heart Association, cardiovascular diseases, including heart disease and stroke, claim more lives than all forms of cancer combined. As the No. 1 killer of women, cardiovascular diseases force us to consider that a woman we know and love may be affected at any age.
National Wear Red Day is Friday, February 2nd. Wear red and unite to fight heart disease and stroke. Attend the Go Red For Women Luncheon and unite with other women in fighting heart disease and stroke on March 13th at Benaroya Hall in Seattle and March 29th at the Museum of Glass in Tacoma.
MOViN 92.5 is a proud local sponsor of Go Red For Women. Join us to help raise funds for cardiovascular research and the lifesaving power of Go Red.
