Mr. Worldwide is coming to the Washington State Fair!
Pitbull learned early in life that music can be an escape from a lifestyle that can take you in the wrong direction, and since that point his career has become limitless. He was born Armando Christian Perez in 1981 in Miami, and is of Cuban descent. His father taught him to recite the words of Cuban poet and independence leader Jose Marti. After his parents split up, his mother struggled to make ends meet. For a while he spent time with a foster family in rural Roswell, Georgia. Pitbull began rapping in high school after his mother kicked him out for dealing drugs. Upon graduation he focused on his career, performing wherever he could. It was Lil Jon that turned his career around, inviting him to appear on his 2002 album Kings of Crunk.
